Eyes Sweater - new publication

I'm happy to show off my latest design - Eyes Sweater (aka Eyes Top) - which is published in August issue (#44) of Inside Crochet magazine (UK).

The yarns used in original sample are Rowan "Softknit Cotton" and Rowan "Summerspun". The top is almost seamless, and you'll be surprised how fast it works up. Openwork eyes stitch pattern on the top part, and textured post stitches on the bottom part of the top.

Eyes Series - another one coming soon

Last week Inside Crochet magazine (UK) released sneak peeks for issue #44. My Eyes Top was one of the featured designs. The issue goes out on 26th of July. More info about the release coming soon!
So here is the sneak peek:

Three is a trilogy, but let's call it a series - I'm pretty sure there's more to come. Meanwhile I will remind you of two previous designs in eyes stitch pattern:

Sade Summer Version

Do you remember Sade Scarf-Shawl? It was one of the cases where yarn comes first and then comes the design/stitch pattern. I saw that gorgeous yarn during my trip to Estonia and bought it. Unfortunately it was so hard to photograph, and the beautiful stitch pattern just got lost.

So I thought - why not make a summer version for it in a nice bamboo blend? The stitch pattern looks so much better!

And here are several ways to wear the scarf:

Just wanted to share a sunny project that I'm currently working on - it's a cardigan for myself. And yes - I'm writting a pattern for it, too.

I am sharing my progress on my Twitter account @ElevenHandmade .
